American Samoa is a small island located in the Pacific Ocean southeast
of Western Samoa.  The island is approximately 77 square miles or 199
square kilometers in area.  This island is an unincorporated, unorganized                                                                         territory of the United States with a population of approximately 46,773
people.  The largest town on the island is Pago Pago.
